I am not entirely sure who Carey Mulligan is but this picture of her makes me want to have short hair.

Apparently she is in Education with Peter Sarsgaard, who is awesome. She was in something else that was cool too. I can’t remember now.

She’s apparently also dating Shia LeBeouf… so that’s a thing.

I used to be a pretty big fan of Shia back in his Even Stevens days. I really used to think this kid has got It. And I think he still does have It, but he is using It for evil not good.

Regardless she just seems rad.

Why you should be Alexa Chung:

1. She seems pretty cool – though I’ve never watched her show – I think I can still guess that she seems cool.

2. She has a rock star boyfriend – Alex Turner from The Arctic Monkeys and The Last of the Shadow Puppets. And their names are Alex and Alexa. Every girl should strive to have a rock star boyfriend/ girlfriend/ whatever.

3. She is British and she lives in Brooklyn now. That really makes me want to be her.

4. She has pretty cool style.

Laura Marling is amazing!

At 17 she wrote Alas I Cannot Swim. It came out the week she turned 18. She is now 19.

Laura Marling writes these beautiful songs that break your heart and she is just so cool. Guys adore her. She used to play with Noah and The Whale and lead singer Charlie thanks her for the best year of his life in the liner notes of their first album, Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down. When I saw her play in Toronto she was with Marcus Mumford from Mumford and Sons and he also plays her in her band.

These genuis men love her and yet you get the feeling that she had her heart broken when she was young by some self involved douche bag. Probably an actor – that’s just my gut feeling. Now these amazing guys follow her around, praising her but her heart is still broken.

I don’t know it’s just a theory.
